Meet Mark Parzych: Bringing P&C Claims Expertise to DigitalOwl’s Product Innovation

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the DigitalOwl team as a claims consultant. It is incredibly fulfilling to join an organization bringing practical, trusted AI into the claims world.

For over 18 years I’ve held several claims roles, lead multi-line teams, and handled complex injury cases in many jurisdictions. I sat in the adjuster’s chair, experienced the pain points, trained new hires, collaborated with internal stakeholders and outside counsels. Over time, it became clear to me that the volume and complexity of medical records have grown, but the tools to review them have not kept pace.

Adjusters are expected to maintain the highest ethical and accuracy standards while empathetically serving customers in times of need, conducting thorough investigations, and manually evaluating injury claim demands. With plaintiff attorneys frequently leveraging AI to overwhelm adjusters via convoluted demand letters and evolving tactics, it is self-evident that claim professionals now require a more efficient solution.

That’s why I joined DigitalOwl.

I work directly with our product and engineering teams to ensure that what we build aligns with how claim professionals operate and prepares them for success. This includes prioritizing the core tenets of claims organizations: reducing cycle time, accurate reserving, proactive litigation management, consistent quality and compliance across teams.

Adjusters need more than an AI summary to give them an edge in claim conferencing and negotiations with plaintiff counsel. Highlighting inconsistencies, missing information, and quickly providing insights helps adjusters focus on their key decision-making processes.
